The instructions are for a tin 26 cm in circumference and 8.4 cm in height.
Materials required:
- Yarn: e.g About Berlin – Bulky, shade 008
- Double-pointed knitting needles Bamboo No. 10
- Only knit stitches are used (garter stitch)
Instructions:
Step 1
Tension sample: 11 stitches x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Step 2
Cast on 28 stitches and divide the stitches onto four needles from the set.
Step 3
Knit 15 rows in garter stitch.
Then fasten off all stitches in row 16.
Step 4
Sew in the ends.
It is advisable not to position the flowerpot holder until after planting the pot. Draw the flowerpot holder from below over the pot, to avoid staining the wool with earth.
